Tenchi Universe

Tenchi Muyo TV1 also known as Tenchi Universe was the first of the Tenchi Muyo series to air on television in Japan. The showed offered an expansion on the original concept set forth by the first OVA series (not sure about the second). There were some altercations made to the storyline and to the character descriptions in order to offer a relatively fresh, new tenchi series that turned out to be one of the best. Essentially, the characters maintained the standards for their personalities and were still what they were from the original show, along with addition of new characters. This is probably my favorite of the tenchi series.
